About Ehi

Ehi Iden is an Occupational Safety, Health and Wellness Consultant with over 22 years’ work experience spanning through healthcare, patient safety and Occupational Health and Safety Management. He holds a number of professional certifications in Occupational, Safety, Health and Wellbeing, Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Global Social Entrepreneurship, Society and Health, Population Health, Disaster Management, Workplace Mental Health, Behavioural Medicine, Infection Prevention and Control, Occupational Hygiene and many others.

Ehi is a Doctoral Fellow working on Workplace Health and Wellness Promotion as a study area. He is also a certified Life Coach and a Career Advisor. He is a Mental Health Ambassador and an Ambassador to Patient Safety Movement Foundation (PSMF).

A versatile trainer and a notable conference speaker in high demand. He is the founding CEO of Occupational Health and Safety Managers (OHSM), a Head of Faculty at OSHversity and President, OSHAfrica.

He is a Member, Board of Trustees at Occupational Safety and Health Africa Foundation (OSHAfrica) and Occupational Health Research and Development Initiative (OHRDI). He is a member, Steering Committee at European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH), a member, International Commission on Occupational Health and a member, Occupational Safety and Health Experts Working Group for the African Union.

About Yohama

Yohama Caraballo-Arias is an Occupational Physician, an active member of the Council of Scientific Advisors of the American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), Venezuelan delegate of the International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative (IOMSC) and currently acts as a Coordinator of the Adhered Center of the Ibero-American Cochrane Network at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Appointed as the Venezuelan National Secretary by the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) for the triennium 2018-2021.

Yohama is a lecturer, writer and a former Associate Professor at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). Staff member of the Learning and Development on Occupational Health (LDOH) Foundation. Received the National Award for Risk Prevention "Alberto Montaño" 2010. Yohama was an advisor to the Instituto Nacional de Prevención, Salud y Seguridad Laborales (INPSASEL) and the Founder of Mundo Ocupacional C.A

About Kevin

Kevin Uzoma is an International Healthcare Professional, with over 14 years of service in the fields of Family medicine, Occupational Medicine and Health and Safety in Nigeria’s Oil and Gas and Healthcare sectors, but also globally.

He is a University of Lagos, Nigeria trained Physician who went further to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental Management and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Trainer by American Health Association. He also holds Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DoccMed) at the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, UK and an MSc (Distinction) in Occupational Medicine at the University of Manchester, England.

He is currently a Specialist Registrar in Family Medicine Health Education England, a Guest Speaker Occupational Medicine Dissertation Year Workshop University of Manchester England.

About Amira

Amira Omrane is an excellent Physician with specialty in Occupational Medicine. She is an Assistant Professor of Occupational Medicine at the Department of Ergonomics and Occupational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at Monastir University, Tunisia. She is also an Occupational Health Physician at Taher Sfar Madha Teaching Hospital, Tunisia.

Amira is well travelled resource person and has presented scientific papers in many international Occupational Health and Safety Conferences globally. She has published several research articles and authored a book. Her research areas includes:

  • Occupational Medicine
  • Toxicology and Environment
  • Occupational Allergies
  • Ergonomics

Amira Omrane is a member of several professional bodies and a strong representative of OSHAfrica in Northern African Sub-Region.

About Wellington

Wellington Mudenha is a qualified Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Assurance (SHEQ) practitioner. His academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Health from the University of Johannesburg, a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Africa University as well as a Diploma in Environmental Health and Safety Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management. He is currently a Doctoral student pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences (Environmental Health) at University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Wellington also holds a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Cape Town including other certifications in Quality and Environmental Management. He is well versed and experienced in SHEQ ISO management systems development, implementation, maintenance, risk management and audits.

In addition, Wellington is a registered graduate member of SAIOSH, ZIOSH and a committee member of the Safety First Association. He is a registered Occupational Health and Safety trainer, facilitator and assessor with ETDP SETA, HWSETA and EWSETA in South Africa.

About Chinwe

Chinwe Sylvia Adebiyi is a Physician with regional and global experience in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical practice and managed care. She obtained her medical degree from University of Lagos, Nigeria. She went on to the UK to pursue a post-graduate residency training in Psychiatry and returned to Nigeria where she took on different positions with increasing responsibilities in health care management companies.

She joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2013, working as MSL lead and Medical Advisor for Novartis Pharmaceuticals covering Anglophone West African countries and working in different therapeutic areas like cardiology, diabetology, neuroscience, pain and respiratory medicine. While in Novartis she took on increasing responsibilities and pioneered a number of laudable projects earning her team and franchise various awards and recognition. She left Novartis in 2017 to relocate with her family to the US.

Chinwe also completed an Executive Masters in Health Economics and Outcomes Management in Cardiovascular Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2018.

In the US she has worked in Vertex Pharmaceutical located in Boston Massachusetts, as US Medical Affairs Medical Director in Cystic Fibrosis, where she was the US medical lead for their flagship Cystic fibrosis product- Kalydeco. She is currently is a Global Medical Director for Eliquis in Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in New York.
